How do you tap into your inner guidance? I am finding it more necessary now than ever. The “external guidance” is confusing, contradictory and I often simply do not trust it. From the media bias to Google controlling the feed of healthcare news, I continually challenge what others impose on me as facts when the information is designed to polarize and misinform me.

How am I being manipulated and controlled by taking in external data without examination? Where have I been lulled into the illusion I am free when I am not? Through inner reflecting and inquiry, it becomes obvious how I am complicit and participate in being deceived.

Here are some of my favorite ways to tap into my inner guidance. As the uncertainty and chaos remains during this time of transition into the new era and higher consciousness, tapping into my inner knowing and guidance is imperative. I use these processes for clarity, to answer questions I have about optimal next steps or choices, check on yes or no questions, ask for assistance and support, set intentions and attract what I need and want.

Multidimensional mindfulness: I direct my attention to those nonmaterial aspects of myself where creativity and ideas arise and have “conversations” to gain new insights.

Muscle testing: This process of applied kinesiology taps into the wisdom of my body, somatic knowing, which inherently recognizes if something is optimal or not for me.

Use intuition and clairsenses: I use Clairvoyance (clear seeing), Clairaudience (clear hearing), Clairsentience (clear feeling), and Claircognizance (clear knowing) in my coaching practice as well as for myself.

Meditation: When I create stillness inside and bringing all of my attention into the present moment and opening to subtle ways of knowing, clarity arises in my awareness.

The author Tara Mohr in her book Playing Big talks about the inner mentor and says, “there is a voice in each of us that is unburdened by fear and untouched by insecurity, that has utter calm, that emanates love for oneself and others.” That’s our inner guidance system.
